The new Chevy 2020 Chevy Silverado RST slips as it rises. The new truck is lighter than before, but has new features and trim levels. This level of RST settings combines a sporty look with an off-road Z71 package. What is it all about? Let’s dive in to get a detailed look and a detailed review. It’s not a radical change from the other trim Silverado. Optically, the main differentiators are a body color wheelbarrow with narrow gaps in the center beams. The bumpers are also bodies, and the fog lights get small chrome guards that reflect the design of the grill. On the back is the tailgate standard Silverado fare, but an RST badge is added. This special test car also features a 4×4 sticker indicating the RST trim will be available with all-wheel drive.

We’re excited to see if Chevy will include some performance upgrades on the RST. The trim was first introduced on the Tahoe and Suburban, and it stands for “Rally Sports Truck. “On these SUVs, the RST brings some unique options that are not on other trims like a GM Performance exhaust that adds a few horsepower, six-piston Brembo front brake saddle, and magnetorheological suspension. It also adds the option of a 6.2-liter V8, but that engine is already available on the Silverado. It would be natural for Chevy to offer these on the 2020 Chevy Silverado RST, too, giving the trim a bit more performance credibility. Unfortunately, we don’t expect anything completely different mechanically, like the supercharged 5.3-liter V8 found on Chevy’s Silverado Performance Concept.
