2022 Chevy Silverado we see a very rapid development of this famous company, since the introduction of the next generation of Chevrolet 2022 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra, many have criticized the truck for having a relatively simple and soft interior design.
General Motors has listened and announced that the 2022 Chevrolet & GMC trucks will update the interior.
The upgrade will come as part of a mid-cycle truck update because the two trucks have come out since late 2018.
Applying this technology to pickup trucks is not a strange concept if you look deeper into the rabbit hole.
Remember the Colorado ZR2? This is the only US hard worker who has a DSSV damper feature right off the bat for off-road capability and road comfort.
As the headline implies, the rumor factory returned with other crumbs from information that has not been confirmed by General Motors.
Fast Lane Truck quotes “anonymous tips from sources with knowledge in powertrain development” for the 6.2-liter V8 engine that will lurk under the hood of the ZRX.
2022 Chevy Silverado What’s New
With the introduction of the all-new Chevrolet Tahoe & GMC Yukon 2021, 2022 Chevy Silverado concept and Sierra 1500 trucks should have the same interior design.
The interior design of the truck might not be the same as their SUV counterparts but expect to see many familiar buttons and buttons.
For example, the all-new Chevrolet Tahoe interior has the same steering wheel, driver instrument cluster, and climate & audio control knobs like the current Chevrolet 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500.
But the 2021 Tahoe has a larger 10 “touch screen, a gear selector button, and a different button layout to the left of the steering wheel.

Heavy-duty GMC Sierra 2020 and the all-new Chevrolet 2022 Chevy Silverado trucks will also receive interior updates but it will most likely be the next year for 1500 trucks.
Just like Silverado and Sierra 1500, Heavy Duty trucks also received criticism for having the same “bland” interior as their 1500 siblings.
But because heavy-duty trucks have the same interior style as half-ton trucks, it must be a fairly simple change to an updated interior design.
Expect to see an updated interior of the 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 and 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 in the early to mid-2021.
2022 Chevy Silverado Engine
Be it LT4 from the previous generation Camaro ZL1 and Corvette Z06 or LT5 from the ‘Vette ZR1, there’s no denying that supercharging is more than enough for a small block V8.
Not only will it defeat EcoBoost V6 from the Ford F-150 Raptor but it will also fight well against Hellcat V8 from Ram 1500 Rebel TRX.
Stepping out of the rumor factory into the real world, what we know for certain about the 2022 Chevy Silverado half-ton pickup truck is that the interior redesign is inside the pipe.
Some minor updates to the exterior are also expected although it remains to be seen if we are dealing with a mid-cycle refresh or just a large number of updates for the 2022 model.
2022 Chevy Silverado Interior
Back in August 2019, the GM Authority was the first to report that General Motors plans to bring various updates to the interior of the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado.
In the report, we stated that the update would arrive for the 2021 or 2022 model year. Now, we have learned that the renewal will not come for the 2021 model year, but rather for the year 2022.
Updates will be synchronized with a refresh, known in GM terminology as an intermediate cycle enhancement (MCE), which will also provide some minor updates to the exterior.
Interior enhancements, meanwhile, will be focused around the medium and high trim levels of each vehicle, although all models must benefit from an update.
Improvements to the interior of the 2022 chevy Silverado interior and Sierra HD must follow approximately one year after that the lightweight Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 models. Silverado ZRX releases that focus on offroad must follow the same time frame.
Since being released in the second half of 2018 as a 2019 model, the all-new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado pickup and 2019 GMC Sierra have been criticized for having an interior that is not quite different from the last generation K2 model.

Meanwhile, others praised the interior of the Ram Pickup, also completely new to the 2019 model, because it is more attractive and luxurious than Silverado and Sierra.
Meanwhile, others have offered a different view on the interior of the Sierra and 2022 Chevy Silverado, stating that GM’s pickup truck cab has just been.
Also, our sources told us that the interior update will utilize the cabin of the all-new 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe / 2021 Chevrolet Suburban and 2021 GMC Yukon while remaining “truck-like.”
It should also be noted that the upcoming GMC Hummer EV will make its debut in 2021 for the 2022 model year.
As such, likely, an update coming in for the interior of the GM GM Sierra and the upcoming EV Chevrolet 2022 Chevy Silverado will also benefit from the cabin of GM’s first electric pickup truck.
