2022 Chevrolet Traverse Interior
Traverse provides spacious accommodation for seven or eight passengers, including the size of a third row for adults. Chevrolet’s six-level model line allows Traverse to reach the broad market and appeal to many buyers.
The ingredients at the High Country-level are handsome but a bit less than expectations given the high price of that version. Fold-down the second and third-row seats and it becomes the champion of cargo transportation with more space than its competitors.
Six suitcases carry behind the third row, which means winning with people and their luggage. It offers first-row cubby storage in its class too.
Chevy blesses the Traverse cabin with several easy-to-use USB ports and infotainment systems with colorful graphics, a high-mounted touch screen, and standard Apple CarPlay wireless and Android Auto capabilities.
An infotainment system that responds to user input quickly and a standard Wi-Fi hotspot makes it an SUV that understands technology.
2022 Chevrolet Traverse Engine
The standard 310 V-6 horsepower engine gives Traverse its legs and a nine-speed automatic transmission that changes gears silently. V-6 pulls strongly; a Traverse that we tested proved to be faster than its class.
The cabin is very quiet so you need to steal a glance at the tachometer to make sure the engine is working at a red light. By the way, Traverse featured the smoothest automatic stop/start feature that we tested.
When parking or maneuvering at low speeds, Traverse senses every bit of its size. However, finish the pace, and the big Chevy feels smaller than it is – ready, if not athletically.
The steering effort is low, but the system is precision and makes it easy to aim at large SUVs. 2022 Chevrolet Traverse suspension is adjusted for a good balance between handling and ride comfort.

Rate Traverse with an estimated EPA fuel economy number in its class, and you will do it with only half the information.
In our real-world testing, the Traverse High Country all-wheel-drive produced 27 mpg, the best road fuel consumption among its main competitors.
2022 Chevrolet Traverse Price and Release Date
We hope that the Chevy Traverse 2022 will follow the regular year GM model rollover sequence, and be launched at the end of the second quarter of the calendar year 2020 or the beginning of the third quarter of the calendar year 2020.
We hope that the current second-generation Chevrolet Traverse will remain in production for at least 2022, 2023, and possibly the 2024 model, and the new Chevrolet Traverse in the future will be launched around the 2024 model year.
Starting at $ 31,000 the mid-range LT model represents the best value among the Traverse six-trim range because it adds well to have such as a second-row captain’s seat, power-adjustable driver’s seat, SiriusXM satellite radio, fog lamps, heated exterior mirrors, and roof rails.
If you want something a little more luxurious without using a much more expensive Premier or High Country model, the LT trim offers a Leather package that adds a power-adjustable passenger seat, heated front seat, leather seats, power back door, and more.
