2019 Chevy Traverse Dimensions welcome to our site chevymodel.com Chevy offers a diverse line-up of cars, coupes, sedans, and hatchbacks. Visit now and get a more expert review. The Travers was new last year and has lent much of its appearance from the Chevy’s Truck division. The three-line crossover, despite its appearance, is still firmly aligned with the family detail, and its interior is on the laundry-and-fist side of the enduring vs. designer debate. It is still beautiful, and in top trim can be dressed in leather, but it does not step on the associated Buick’s simple solvency premium look.

Under the Hood, a 3.6-liter V-6, which makes 310bhp and rebounds if the 22mpg is combined, will be most common. A smooth, switchable 9-speed automatic is the only one offered – thank God it’s one of the better ones. Front-wheel drive is standard, and the four-wheel drive is available at most tuning, but it’s a part-time system that doesn’t-, you need to know when you need it.

A 2.0-liter turbo-4 can have front wheel drive traverse under the bonnet. It’s no more effective or powerful than the V-6, and this year the Chevy put an AWD RS with V-6 that starts pushing the Turbo-4 to the “CH-so-ran” status. The traverse is comfortable in all three rows, even for adults. This type of room in the way back is unusual in class, but the sparse shoulder area keeps us close to saying that it’s OK to find seven of your closest friends and run for a Dakota this weekend – North or south, your choice.

Federal testers give Travers relatively good results, but independent testers have not crashed anything yet. Base L models will be rare sights on parties. We suggest starting with the LT Ornament Point, which includes a current adjustable driver’s seat, the other hooded chairs, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, upgraded seats, a 7.0-inch touchscreen, and 18-inch wheels. Options are available for LTs, including leather upholstery, 20-inch wheels, an 8.0-inch touchscreen, and blind-Point monitors.

There is room to grow, that is what we say. This year, after a complete redesign, the traverse is still largely identical to last year. The Travers is now more sincere, with a larger grid and a larger bow planted in its wrinkle. Slim taillights finish a strong shoulder line that carries the station’s boxing look through the body sides. The look is not as striking as some in class-Mazda CX-9 and handsome Dodge Durango-but it’s leagues better than the outbound model and some of Chevy’s second crossovers.

Inside, the cabin becomes more money cladding, but each version has smart controls and soft surfaces or durable, washed and finished plastics. The center console is wide and useful, large enough to swallow small foods or accumulated family inscriptions. The high country releases slam over the Chevy’s mainstream much but ask the owners to pay dearly for the privilege.

The biggest change this year for Traverse is a V-6 version of the RS issue, all but elbows of a 2.0-liter turbo 4 that was standard last year. Both engines are still available, although the 2.0-liter turbo-4 is now relegated to a trim, front-wheel drive only. The V-6 is a proven mill from GM that delivers 310 hp and 266 lb-ft. Its single partner is a smooth switching automatic that works very well.

The V-6 makes most of its power via a thick piece of the power band. We have enough spin to crank up the front wheels, enough to spill a milkshake if you are interested in cleaning up the mess later. The 9-speed fire fires from quick shifts and droplets switch well for the freeway. It’s better than other 9 speeds we’ve tested, proper programming goes a long way.

Chevy’s part-time All-wheel-drive is optional on all trims except High country. It is a system that requires driver engagement, a head-scratcher when other car brands offer automatic systems. Turning a button from Front-on all-wheel drives is really for efficiency’s sake, but at 22 mpg traverse is hardly effective without it.

A 2.0-liter turbo-4 is a link choice for Travers. Available only in the front-wheel-drive RS spec, it’s no sportier, not more efficient and weighs heavily on the engine’s 257 horsepower. We report when we have had more time behind the wheel. Like all the other big family Galoot, traverse and places steer like a large family car. (It is.) It’s not very communicative, but a great on-Center location helps traverse stay in the same direction on long journeys.

The suspension was upgraded last year compared to previous generations. The traverse uses smooth MacPherson on the front side and a five-link rear suspension to smother bumps. The front seats are comfortable all day and very meat-friendly-we mean pasta, not the regulator. Most versions have a power setting for the driver’s seat, the top trims get passenger adjustment, lumbar adjustment or upgraded material.

The second row of captain’s chairs lends itself well to long-distance runners, with plenty of room for enforcement contenders. Chevy says there are more than 38 inches of legroom in the second row and it’s believable. The doors swing wide to allow easy entry and exit (although parking spaces can be challenging for the mall) and parents should have no problems with the wide opening of small children.

The third row is also spacious. With more than 33 inches of legroom, the third line is not an adult penalty – our 6-foot-3 editor fits there again too – but we would stop filling an adult material back there for long tugs. Well, maybe a few employees. Behind the third line, there are 23 cubic meters of cargo space, which is generous. With the third flat row that space balloons on more than 58 cubic feet. The front rows in place alone show more than 98 cubic feet of cargo space, enough for an IKEA living room in a shot.

The fit and finish of the Chevy Travers are generally good, but it’s not as premium as the included Buick enclave. Most versions of the Travers are equipped with an active noise lock that helps calm the cabin and keep the exterior in check. More money on traverse networks to better interior materials, including real leather huts on leather, high country, and Premier trim. We haven’t tried leather-named sites in traverse RS versions yet but will get in touch first.
