As far as we can see the full-size Chevrolet Tahoe model has a lot to offer. This is a large SUV that can accommodate up to eight people. The Tahoe, like its larger Suburban sibling, is available with a choice of three powerplants, all available with rear- or four-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The base engine is a smooth 355 hp V-8, with a larger 420 hp V-8 above. The turbocharged Duramax diesel outperforms the two gas V-8s in terms of fuel economy. 2024 Chevy Tahoe Interior
While it certainly won’t compare to smaller mid-size SUVs, the full-size Tahoe has a large cabin with what feels like acres of space. Three rows of seats are standard, and the second row of seats slides fore and aft to allow adults to sit comfortably when returning.
The Tahoe’s interior package also includes a low, flat load floor thanks to its independent rear suspension; with the second and third seats folded, cargo space increases to 123 cubic feet. We also fit six pieces of luggage under the third row.
While we like that Chevy ditched the conventional column shifter in favor of a push-button and shifter system, the retractable motorized center console cover looks gimmicky, especially since the control switches are on the roof. Fortunately, the rest of the Tahoe’s interior ergonomics aren’t too problematic.
Connectivity and infotainment

The good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube have a satellite spot dubbed AutoYa Interior, and it’s where all of the Tahoe’s (CGI) action happens – at least as far as the cockpit is concerned. So, after the main channel initially presented an unofficial vision of a 2024 or 2025 refresh for the Big Tahoe SUV, it’s time to meet and discuss the cabin changes – complete with luxury color options and CGI-to-real comparisons between the old and hypothetical new versions.
Anyway, the upcoming Tahoe facelift has already been spied on, and the prototype is only covered in light camouflage – so we already know the focus will be on the fascia that brings out all the hallmarks of this new design. Unsurprisingly, the channel’s resident pixel master also thinks the Silverado EV inspiration will continue in the cabin.

Chevy Tahoe Engine
The 2024 Tahoe has always been powered by a V-8 engine, and this generation is no exception. The 3.0-liter diesel six-cylinder engine joins the regular 5.3-liter 355 hp block and optional 6.2-liter 420 hp block. Although the oil burner has the least horsepower of the three, it has the same torque as a larger V-8.
