2025 Chevy Blazer Review
In 2019, Chevrolet reintroduced the Blazer as a mid-size crossover with two rows, but fans of the original were left disappointed since they were expecting a rugged SUV capable of off-road adventures. Chevy is now surprising fans once again with the release of an electric version of the Blazer for the 2024 model year, called the Blazer EV.
While the electrification of the Blazer may be underwhelming for some, the SS trim offers an impressive 557 horsepower and can reportedly reach 60 mph in less than four seconds. The SS appears to be positioned to compete with other high-performance electric SUVs such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT and the Tesla Model Y Performance.
However, there will also be three other less powerful and more affordable models available. The Blazer EV will utilize General Motors’ Ultium battery technology, with the RS trim offering the longest range of approximately 320 miles on a single charge, according to Chevy.
What new Blazer 2025
The Blazer EV is a completely new model within the Blazer lineup and will have its own unique body and interior design, rather than being a gasoline-powered Blazer retrofitted with an electric propulsion system.

It will be available in four different trims, with the 2LT and RS models being released first during the summer of 2023. The top-of-the-line SS trim will be available shortly after and will be on sale before the end of the same year. The 1LT trim, which is the most affordable option, will join the lineup in early 2024.
2025 Chevy Blazer Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
The Blazer EV is a strict two-row configuration and appears to have a sporty interior design that matches the SUV’s aggressive exterior styling, according to photos. The dashboard is flanked by round air vents, and RS and SS trims feature a two-tone black-and-red color scheme, although a more monotone option is likely available for those who prefer a less flashy look.
We were able to sit inside a pre-production SS model and found there was enough legroom in both rows, but headroom was somewhat limited. In an upcoming evaluation, we will test the Blazer EV’s cargo capacity using our carry-on suitcase test and update this article with the results.
To provide a more luxurious feel, the 2025 Chevy Blazer’s interior has been updated. The cabin is spacious and can comfortably seat up to five passengers. The seats are covered in high-quality leather and feature heating and ventilation, ensuring maximum comfort for passengers.
The dashboard has been revamped with a new user-friendly and easy-to-use infotainment system. The system supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing passengers to connect their devices seamlessly and access their favorite music, podcasts, and other content. The Blazer also comes with a built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, ensuring that passengers stay connected to the internet while on the go.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Every variant of the Blazer includes a sizeable 17.7-inch infotainment screen that is angled towards the driver and surrounded on the left and bottom by physical controls for the climate control system and volume knob. In addition, there is a secondary 11.0-inch display that provides the driver with pertinent driving information and gauges.
Although Chevrolet has not yet commented on the infotainment system in the Blazer EV, it is presumed to be GM’s newest iteration, which is based on Android Auto. We anticipate that the vehicle will have numerous standard connectivity features, such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot.
